This rich, full-bodied Pinot Gris, made from hand-picked fruit, was only lightly filtered to preserve fruit character. Deliciously spicy, with aromas of orchard fruits, acacia blossom and dried honey, its lovely with smoked ham. Theres no lack of Tradition at Hugel: established in Riquewihr in 1639, this crusading, vineyard-resurrecting wine dynasty (owners of the worlds oldest barrel, dated 1715) consistently produces Alsace classics that are benchmarks for the region.
